After working up such a sweat at the gym or at your home, where ever you perform your exercises, the last thing you want to do is to make any one of these 5 mistakes. Many do not relieve how easy it is to screw up during your workouts, which will render your works completely ineffective, in others words, worthless.
Why spend so much time and effort performing exercises
5 Ways to Screw Up Your Workouts
#1 – Working out for too much and for too long
If you workout too often or for too long, you will be overtraining. You do not want to do this because your workouts can be ineffective and can result in injury. Allow time for your muscle to recover before you work them out again.
#2 -Not Consuming Enough Calories and Eating the Wrong Calories
In order to gain muscle, you must consume more calories than you burn. If you do not eat enough calories, you will not grow, it’s that simple. You can train all you want, but if you do not eat right, your workouts will be ineffective. You calories should come from high quality carbs, proteins, and fats, not from junk food.
#3 – Lack of Sleep
Believe it or not, but your muscle grow when you are sleep, not when you are working out. Be sure to get at least 6 hours of sleep each night. About 8 hours is best.
#4 – Performing the Same Exercises
Your muscles are smarter than you think. If you perform the same workouts over and over again, they get used to it and will not grow. Confuse your muscles into grow by performing different exercises each workout.
#5 – Not Stretching Enough
You must stretch each time before workouts. You should spend a 1/3 of your workout, stretching. For example, if you workout for 30 minutes, your stretching should be 15 minutes, totaling 45 minutes.
