Athlean X Strength Training Program is a workout system created by Jeff Cavaliere, a personal fitness trainer to a number of celebrities and professional athletes. It has been around for almost a year now and is taking the fitness world by storm. It is most known for it’s effectiveness to burn fat and build lean muscle in the same time of 90 days and in less workouts than several other popular fitness programs like the P90x workout system.
Jeff Cavaliere created the Athlean X program based on the exact workout routines and diet management he has his professional athletes follow. Celebrities and professional athletes pay him thousands of dollars for this exact routine, but he is selling the blueprint for much less.
What’s in the program?
The Athlean X Program is just like having you’re own personal trainer. It comes with a complete 90-Day workout schedule, 130+ exercises to perform and a 90-Day meal plan. The 90-Day workout schedule is complete with each and ever exercises to perform each day and how many times you need to perform it. For example, on the first day (Monday), you will perform 6 different exercises to work on strength training, then the next day (Tuesday), you will perform several conditioning workouts. You will perform different exercises each day for 5 days (Monday-Friday), Monday, Wednesday, Friday are all strength training exercises and Tuesday, Thursday are conditioning exercises. Each day, the total amount of time you will spend performing the exercises will be about 20-30 minutes, unlike P90x where you spend 60-90 minutes and 6-7 days a week. Since Jeff is not with you, he has put together a complete Exercises Menu. This include each and every exercise he has you perform, along with a complete step by step description of each and pictures of him performing each exercise. The pictures help you clarify whether or not you are performing the exercise with the correct form because if your form is wrong, the exercises is ineffective. A diet plan is essential for maximum results, therefore Jeff includes a 90-Day meal plan. He has broken down, each and every day for those 90 days of what he recommends you to eat for each of the 6 meals of the day. You don’t have to follow every single meal, he just has created an example 90-day meal plan. Feel free to change up the days and meals to you’re on preference.

Do you need a gym membership? Actually, you do not need to belong to a gym in order to follow the Athlean-X Program. Like any other workout program, you will need some equipment if you do not belong to a gym. Jeff has put together a list of 10 pieces of equipment (similar to mine) you can purchase, which will allow you to perform the Athlean-X Program in the comfort of your own home. Who is this program for? If you’re looking to build serious muscle, this is NOT the program for you. This is a program for those who want to become for physically fit, while build some muscle and burning some fat. Does the Athlean X Program Work?
The Athlean X Strength Training program is the perfect program for anyone who wants an athletic body by burning fat and building muscle fast. The program is very well organized and planned out, with a complete 90-day workout schedule, meal plan and an exercise menu with step by step instructions. It’s as if you have your own personal trainer.
The exercises Jeff Cavaliere has you perform on the workout days are very focused on specific muscle groups for maximum growth. They are challenging and intense workouts, but they do not overwork you. So after each workout you’re not left feeling burnt out, but in fact more energized.
However, for someone who seriously wants to change their body, I would highly recommend another program by Kyle Leon called Somanabolic Muscle Maximizer. As it’s best for those who want to get ripped, but pack on muscle as well.
